Our prediction for this Serie A match:
After sharing the spoils Sassuolo in the opening match of the season, Cagliari will be aiming to record their first win of the 2020/21 Serie A campaign when they take on Lazio at their Sardegna Arena. The Sardinians did well to hold Sassuolo to a draw in their opener, but it has to be noted that the Neroverdi dominated the game. The Biancocelesti, on the other hand, were not in action at the weekend as their match against Atalanta was postponed.
Lazio aim to make a flying start to the season, and seeing that the club chiefs did well to keep hold of key players in the summer transfer window, away win should be considered. As always, experienced attacker Ciro Immobile is likely to lead the line for the visitors. The likes of Cerri, Ciocci, and Pereiro are likely to miss the game through injury for the hosts.
