Our football match prediction:
As expected, Bologna were beaten by title holders Juventus on Matchday 17 and, as a result, they remained in the bottom half of the Serie A standings. The Rossoblu have been having a tough fixture list in December and it remains to be seen if they are going to put an end to their three-game winless run in the national championship this weekend. Bologna face Chievo at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Friday evening and the fact that the Mussi Volanti have been struggling to find their best form of late is giving the visitors a reason for optimism ahead of the trip to the “City of Love”. Chievo Verona head into the match following a 1-0 loss to Crotone and it has to be noted that they failed to find the net in previous three league fixtures. The two sides seem to be evenly matched at the moment and, taking everything into account, we predict the two teams will share the spoils in their penultimate game of the year.
