Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Juventus will be looking to kick off new Serie A campaign in style when they take on Chievo at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Saturday evening. Cristiano Ronaldo is eager to prove his worth on his Juve debut and, no doubt, all eyes will be on the start of the summer transfer window when the Bianconeri take on the Mussi Volanti on the opening day of the season. Max Allegri’s men are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach against Chievo and we predict that they are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s football game. The Mussi Volanti experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a heavy 5-0 loss to Hoffenheim in their final warm-up game, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered. In their last meeting in the “City of Love” Juventus recorded a 2-0 win over Chievo and the history is likely to repeat itself.

Highlighted Player (Valter Birsa):

After making just one appearance for Primorje in the 2003/2004 campaign, Valter Birsa joined Gorica at the age of 17. He impressed with the Slovenian outfit, scoring 26 goals in 61 league matches and, as a result, earned a lucrative move to Sochaux.
The left-footed midfielder, who plays as a winger as well, did not score too many goals for the French outfit (8), but it has to be noted that he was sent on loan to Auxerre (in 2009) before his contract expired. Despite being on Liverpool’s radar, Birsa joined Genoa on 2 February 2011 and he made nine league appearances for the Rossoblu in the 2011/2012 Serie A campaign.
After ending his loan spell with Torino in 2013 he joined Italian giants Milan, in what was a swap deal for Luca Antonini, who moved to Genoa. Valter Birsa has 12 caps for Slovenia U21 and he represented the Slovenian national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He scored his first goal for Slovenia on 9 September, 2009 against Poland.
Highlighted Team (Juventus):

Juventus are considered one of the greatest European football clubs. The Bianconeri (The White and Blacks) have won two Champions League trophies (1985, 1996) and they did well to clinch three UEFA Cup titles (1977, 1990, 1993). The Italian giants have won 32 Serie A trophies and it is well known that a number of star players were part of Juve in the past.
The likes of Alessandro Del Piero, Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Lilian Thuram, Filippo Inzaghi, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet all played for Juventus, whilst legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has yet to retire. Juve were stripped two domestic trophies during the “Calciopoli” scandal, but despite being relegated to Serie B, the club quickly brought glory days back to Turin. The Bianconeri used to play their home games at Stadio delle Alpi, but nowadays they welcome their rivals at Juventus Stadium.
The capacity of the stadium is 41,475. La Vechhia Signora (The Old Lady) is yet another nickname of the club. Juve’s biggest rivals are Torino and the two local rivals take on each other in the Turin derby.
