Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Fans at Marc'Antonio Bentegodi Stadium should expect a fight from the home side Chievo trying to get their first triumph of this season. Even though their last two games earned them two points, they are dead last in the table with -1 points because they were deducted three points due to false accounting. However, this should not deter Chievo players to keep on improving and get more points from this game. Their opponents are Udinese, who have only lost one match this season, recording one win and two draws to currently earn them shared 9th place with two other teams, all with a goal difference of zero. Chievo have also conceded the most goals out of all Serie A teams, eleven in total, and six of them against Fiorentina. Historically, in the 34 games they met in, Udinese have more wins, but the predominant result is a draw; they have drawn 14 games. We expect another one here.

Highlighted Player (Valter Birsa):

After making just one appearance for Primorje in the 2003/2004 campaign, Valter Birsa joined Gorica at the age of 17. He impressed with the Slovenian outfit, scoring 26 goals in 61 league matches and, as a result, earned a lucrative move to Sochaux.
The left-footed midfielder, who plays as a winger as well, did not score too many goals for the French outfit (8), but it has to be noted that he was sent on loan to Auxerre (in 2009) before his contract expired. Despite being on Liverpool’s radar, Birsa joined Genoa on 2 February 2011 and he made nine league appearances for the Rossoblu in the 2011/2012 Serie A campaign.
After ending his loan spell with Torino in 2013 he joined Italian giants Milan, in what was a swap deal for Luca Antonini, who moved to Genoa. Valter Birsa has 12 caps for Slovenia U21 and he represented the Slovenian national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He scored his first goal for Slovenia on 9 September, 2009 against Poland.
