Our prediction for this Serie A match:
On Saturday afternoon, Serie B champions Empoli are hosting Serie A champions Juventus at the Carlo Castellani stadium. Juventus have dropped points for the first time this season in a draw with Genoa in the last round. This will encourage other teams, even Empoli, to attack Juve. In their return stint in Serie A, Empoli are not playing well. They have only managed one victory so far and are third from the bottom in the table. They are without a win in their last six matches, where they have four defeats and two draws, including the 3:3 draw with Frosinone in the last round. Before that, Empoli have only scored five goals in eight matches, which has been a problem. And the last time they managed to beat Juventus was in 2007! Juventus are clear favourites to win this game and they will be taking all three points back home to Torino.

Highlighted Player (Levan Mchedlidze):

Levan Mchedlidze is a Georgian international who plays for Empoli as a forward. Mchedlidze played for Dila Gori in the 2005/2006 season and in 2007 he moved to Italy. The Georgian attacker signed a contract with Empoli in July, 2007 and he has been playing for the Azzurri ever since.
However, it has to be noted that he was sent on loan to Palermo on 30 August, 2008, playing 11 league games for the Rosanero. Mchedlidze has only three caps for Georgia U21, but he played five games for the senior team in Euro 2016 qualifiers. On 3 June, 2016, he made his 27 appearance for Georgia, in a 5-1 loss to Romania in a friendly match.
The Empoli striker scored his first ever goal for the Georgian national team in a 2-0 win over Scotland on 17 October, 2007. Mchedlidze open the scoring after 16 minutes, but he was replaced by Kvakhadze in the second half of the match.
Highlighted Team (Juventus):

Juventus are considered one of the greatest European football clubs. The Bianconeri (The White and Blacks) have won two Champions League trophies (1985, 1996) and they did well to clinch three UEFA Cup titles (1977, 1990, 1993). The Italian giants have won 32 Serie A trophies and it is well known that a number of star players were part of Juve in the past.
The likes of Alessandro Del Piero, Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Lilian Thuram, Filippo Inzaghi, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet all played for Juventus, whilst legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has yet to retire. Juve were stripped two domestic trophies during the “Calciopoli” scandal, but despite being relegated to Serie B, the club quickly brought glory days back to Turin. The Bianconeri used to play their home games at Stadio delle Alpi, but nowadays they welcome their rivals at Juventus Stadium.
The capacity of the stadium is 41,475. La Vechhia Signora (The Old Lady) is yet another nickname of the club. Juve’s biggest rivals are Torino and the two local rivals take on each other in the Turin derby.
