Our football match prediction:
Following a come-from-behind win over Genoa, Palermo shared the spoils with Pescara in the relegation six-pointer, but it has to be noted that the Rosanero were on the verge of beating the Delfini in their last league fixture. The Sicilians sit in the relegation zone ahead of Saturday’s football match against Empoli and they will have to improve their game in the second half of the season if they are to secure the Serie A survival. Palermo are eyeing their third away win of the season, but beating Empoli at Stadio Carlo Castellani is easier said than done. The Azzurri have been playing below expectations this season, but they are four points clear of bottom three in the Serie A standings. A win over Palermo would see them move one step closer to avoiding relegation to the Italian second tier and we predict that the hosts, who outplayed Cagliari in their last game at Stadio Carlo Castellani, will emerge triumphant in Saturday’s encounter.
