Our football match prediction:
Empoli are determined to secure the Serie A survival and that is more than obvious. The Azzurri recorded back-to-back wins over the likes of Fiorentina and Milan in previous two league fixtures and, no doubt, they regained a much-needed confidence. Empoli are five points clear of the relegation zone, but they need to keep on winning if they are to avoid a shocking relegation to the Serie B. Sunday’s football match against Sassuolo could be crucial for the Azzurri in their battle for survival and we predict that the hosts will extend their winning run in the national championship to three matches. The Neroverdi do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment; the team recorded only one win in last eight league fixtures, but they did well to share the spoils with Napoli at the weekend. Sassuolo were on the verge of shocking the Partenopei in Reggio Emilia, but Polish attacker Milik eventually scored a late equalizer for the visitors. Anyhow, the team’s form is anything but good and home win should be considered.
