Our football match prediction:
Fiorentina chiefs sold several first-team regulars from the last season in the summer transfer window and, as a result, the Viola kicked off the new Serie A campaign with back-to-back losses to Inter and Sampdoria. Stefano Pioli’s troops, though, rolled over Verona in the “City of Love” at the weekend and, no doubt, they regained a much-needed confidence. Summer signing Giovanni Pablo Simeone opened his goal-scoring account in the 5-0 victory over Chievo and all eyes will be on the former Genoa attacker when Fiorentina welcome Bologna at their Stadio Artemio Franchi. The Viola are eager to record their first home win of the season and considering that the Rossoblu suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to Napoli at home in their last league fixture, we predict that Stefano Pioli’s team are going to pick up all three points from Saturday’s football match. In their last meeting in Florence the Viola defeated Bologna.
