Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Against all odds, Fiorentina managed to hold Napoli to a goalless draw at Stadio San Paolo at the weekend. The Viola have been in a fine form in the Serie A of late and it is no surprise they are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s football game against Genoa. Over the years Fiorentina have turned their Stadio Artemio Franchi into a real fortress and it has to be noted that they outclassed Sassuolo (3-0) in their last home fixture in the national championship. The Rossoblu, on the other hand, aim to move away from the danger zone and the fact that they recorded back-to-back wins over the likes of Crotone and Hellas Verona in previous two away games in the Italian elite division is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the trip to Florence. However, the Viola are regarded as good hosts and they are likely to pick up all three points from the match.
