Our football match prediction:
Stadio Artemio Franchi will host Saturday’s football game between Fiorentina and Juventus, the two teams who have different ambitions in the 2018/2019 season. The Viola aim to book their place in European competitions whilst the Bianconeri are determined to defend their Scudetto. Fiorentina do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment and it has to be noted that they failed to win previous six league fixtures. Max Allegri’s men, on the other hand, are leading the chase for the Serie A trophy and thanks to a 2-0 win over SPAL they extended their winning run in the Italian top flight to four games. Cristiano Ronaldo has found his goal-scoring touch of late and we predict that the Portuguese superstar is going to lead Juve to yet another victory in the Italian elite division on Saturday evening.

Highlighted Player (Vincent Laurini):
Vincent Laurini started his senior career at the age of 19 as he played for Italy amateur club Fossombrone. The full-back made 54 league appearances for the club between 2008 and 2010 and during that period Carpi scouts spotted him. He signed for Carpi in 2010 and one year later he signed a new five-year deal with Biancorossi. Laurini played 57 games for Carpi and in 2012 he decided to move to Empoli. The Empoli full-back was born in Thionville, France, but he is eligible to play for both France and Italy. Laurini wears No. 2 shirt for the Azzurri and he made 25 league appearances for the club in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign. He scored one goal for Empoli during the season as he helped the team pick up one point from the match against Sampdoria. Despite being right-footed, he is capable of playing as a left-back. Laurini’s contract with Empoli expires on 30 June, 2018.

Highlighted Team (Juventus):

Juventus are considered one of the greatest European football clubs. The Bianconeri (The White and Blacks) have won two Champions League trophies (1985, 1996) and they did well to clinch three UEFA Cup titles (1977, 1990, 1993). The Italian giants have won 32 Serie A trophies and it is well known that a number of star players were part of Juve in the past. The likes of Alessandro Del Piero, Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Lilian Thuram, Filippo Inzaghi, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet all played for Juventus, whilst legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has yet to retire. Juve were stripped two domestic trophies during the “Calciopoli” scandal, but despite being relegated to Serie B, the club quickly brought glory days back to Turin. The Bianconeri used to play their home games at Stadio delle Alpi, but nowadays they welcome their rivals at Juventus Stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 41,475. La Vechhia Signora (The Old Lady) is yet another nickname of the club. Juve’s biggest rivals are Torino and the two local rivals take on each other in the Turin derby.
