Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Fiorentina will be aiming to put an end to their five-game winless run in the Serie A when they host Sassuolo at their Stadio Artemio Franchi on Matchday 12. The Viola failed to impress in a 3-0 loss to Atalanta, and, no doubt, boss Cesare Prandelli is under big pressure ahead of the midweek clash. Important midfielder Castrovilli remains in the recovery room, while both Callejon and Ribery should be recalled to the starting XI.
The Neroverdi, on the other hand, did well to beat Benevento 1-0 in their last league match. Midfielder Lukas Haraslin, who was sent off at the weekend, misses the Fiorentina game through suspension, while key attacker Caputo remains in the recovery room. Since Sassuolo have been playing some low-scoring games of late, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals.
