Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Sunday’s football game at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris pits together Genoa and Empoli. The Rossoblu aim to build on a 1-0 win over Bologna, whilst the Azzurri will give 100% to put an end to their three-match losing run in the Serie A when the two teams face each other on Matchday 8. Empoli have been struggling in front of goal of late and they failed to score in previous four league fixtures. Genoa, on the other hand, managed to keep two clean sheets in previous three league games and, taking everything into account, a low-scoring affair appears on the horizon. You should bear in mind that in previous ten meetings between the two teams in all competitions under 2.5 goals have been netted. When the two sides met at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris last season Genoa recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Empoli, with Luca Rigoni scoring the winner for the Rossoblu.
