Our football match prediction:
Thanks to a 2-0 win over Sassuolo Hellas Verona put an end to their five-game losing run in the Serie A, but they remained in the relegation zone in the standings. The Mastini are eager to secure yet another top flight survival and we predict they will fight tooth and nail in Monday’s football game against Genoa. The Rossoblu did well to hold Roma to a 1-1 draw at the weekend, but it has to be noted that Daniele De Rossi was sent off for the visitors in the 69th minute of the game. Genoa are tough to beat at home and given the importance of the match for Verona, we are tempted to put our money on Fabia Pecchia’s charges. The hosts will be without defenders Thomas Heurtaux in Monday’s game as he was sent off in the 2-0 victory over Sassuolo, but, taking everything into account, home win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Daniel Bessa):
Daniel Bessa is a Brazilian midfielder who was born in San Paulo on January 14, 1993. Bessa played for the likes of Coritiba and Atletico-PR during his youth career before joining Inter football school at the age of 15. The Brazilian footballer did not see any game action for the Nerazzurri in the Serie A as he played for the likes of Vicenza, Olhanense, Sparta Rotterdam, Bologna and Como on loan from 2013 to 2016. In the summer of 2016 he moved to Hellas Verona and you should know that he scored eight goals, while providing four assists for his teammates in 41 appearances for the club in the 2016/2017 Serie B campaign. At the end of the season the Mastini secured promotion to the Italian top flight, with the team finishing the process in second place in the standings, four points behind SPAL. Daniel Bessa is a central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a right winger as well.
