Our football match prediction:
Hellas Verona welcome star-studded Napoli at their Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on their return to the Italian top flight. The Mastini have big ambitions for the 2017/2018 Serie A campaign and the club chiefs did remarkably well to keep hold of key attacker Giampaolo Pazzini in the summer transfer window. Verona face an uphill task against Napoli in the opening match of the season and the newcomers will have to be at their sharpest in Saturday’s football match if they are to give fans some cheer. The Neapolitans were producing fine performances in pre-season and seeing that coach Maurizio Sarri can count on his star players for the season opener, we predict that the visitors will pick up all three points from the match. Dries Mertens, who scored 28 goals in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign, will be the man to watch in the away side and he is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition back-line.
