Our match prediction:
Out-of-form Inter will be looking to keep their hopes of making it to the Champions League alive with a win over mid-table side Chievo Verona on Matchday 23 of the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign. The Rossoneri were hammered by their fierce rivals AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina at the weekend, meaning that the lack of confidence might prove to be the team’s biggest problem in Wednesday’s Serie A clash. Roberto Mancini’s men have been completely out of form of late and seeing that they failed to impress in a 1-1 draw with Carpi in their last home fixture, we could see the Mussi Volanti, who had faced a tough fixture list in January, grabbing something from the game. It has to be noted that Inter recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Chievo in the first half of the season, but the two teams played out a goalless draw in their last meeting at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Because of his strength and vision it’s hard to win a duel against Perisic. One of Perisic’ biggest weaknesses is his lack of technique which is required to play for the biggest football clubs. Perisic won several prizes in his career but didn’t always play a big role in them. In season 2010/2011 Perisic was topscorer of the highest Belgian football division scoring 22 goals.
