Our match prediction:
Juventus will host the 21st round of the Italian Serie A against AS Roma in the Juventus Stadium on Sunday the 24st of January at 19:45. AS Roma is the number 5 on the table having 35 points out of the first 20 games; in their last Serie A game AS Roma was unable to beat Hellas Verona and end in a disappointing 1-1 draw. With 9 points less than leader Napoli it will be hard for Juventus to get back involved in the title race for this season. AS Roma started this season hopeful but was unable to perform consistent enough. Juventus on the other hand had a very difficult start in the Italian highest division but managed to get to the second place with 42 points and only 2 points less than Napoli. Juventus is currently on a 9 game victory streak in the Serie A and seems unstoppable in their current form. The first game between AS Roma and Juventus this season end in a 2-1 victory for AS Roma. We predict Juventus to keep the 3 points at home in Turin. Juventus is in their form of their life and would like to win their 32nd Scudetto. Allegri seems the right man on the right spot despite their difficult start.

Highlighted Team (Juventus):
Juventus are considered one of the greatest European football clubs. The Bianconeri (The White and Blacks) have won two Champions League trophies (1985, 1996) and they did well to clinch three UEFA Cup titles (1977, 1990, 1993). The Italian giants have won 32 Serie A trophies and it is well known that a number of star players were part of Juve in the past. The likes of Alessandro Del Piero, Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Lilian Thuram, Filippo Inzaghi, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet all played for Juventus, whilst legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has yet to retire. Juve were stripped two domestic trophies during the “Calciopoli” scandal, but despite being relegated to Serie B, the club quickly brought glory days back to Turin. The Bianconeri used to play their home games at Stadio delle Alpi, but nowadays they welcome their rivals at Juventus Stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 41,475. La Vechhia Signora (The Old Lady) is yet another nickname of the club. Juve’s biggest rivals are Torino and the two local rivals take on each other in the Turin derby.
