Our prediction for this Serie A match:
High-flying Napoli will be aiming to stay in the Scudetto race when they welcome Sampdoria at their Stadio San Paolo on day 11 of the new Serie A campaign. The Neapolitans rolled over ten-man Crotone 4-0 in their last league fixture, but they could be a bit tired following the Europa League showdown with Real Sociedad. Victor Osimhen should be the only absentee in the home team in Sunday’s clash against Sampdoria.
The Genoese, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Milan. La Samp managed to find the net in each of their previous four league fixtures, and given Napoli’s tough fixture list, we predict that the visitors will extend their goalscoring run at Stadio San Paolo. Taking everything into account, both teams to score betting option should be considered. Sampdoria defender Bartosz Bereszynski, who picked up a knock against Milan, is unlikely to feature in Sunday’s game.
