Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Thanks to a 1-1 draw with Venezia Palermo moved one step closer to booking their place in the Serie B play-offs final. The Sicilians scored a vital away goal in the first leg and there is every chance they will adopt a defence-minded approach in Sunday’s football match. Palermo are tough to beat at home and seeing that they are on a five-game unbeaten run ahead of the visit of Venezia, we predict that they are going to make it to the play-offs. The visitors, on the other hand, need to find the net in the return leg if they are to keep their hopes of securing promotion to the Italian top flight alive, but that is easier said than done. The Sicilian outfit conceded only one goal in previous three games and that is yet another reason why away win should not be considered.
