Our prediction for this Serie A match:
For a while there, after taking the lead against Lazio, Chievo believed they could get their first win this year but then the Romans equalized. Still, the team from Verona have managed to go from -1 points to plus two in the last three games with three successive draws, against Bologna, Napoli and Lazio. They will see that as a good run compared to the rest of the season so far. On Sunday, they go to the Ennio Tardini Stadium to take on Parma who have lifted themselves up to ninth place with two wins and a draw in the last four matches. They are now equal on points with Roma in Sassuolo in 7th and 8th. And they have been playing well in front of the home crowd, losing only once in six matches. Apart from their defeat to AC Milan in the last round, they’ve been improving and are likely to continue which doesn’t spell good news for Chievo in their struggle to move off the bottom of the table.
