Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Following back-to-back wins over the likes of Inter and Cagliari, Parma suffered a 3-0 loss to Napoli at Stadio San Paolo in their last league match. The Gialloblu’s main goal is to secure the Serie A survival and they should be looking for points in games against bottom-table sides if they are to meet the goal. It is well known that Parma produce much better displays at home than on the travels and they should take advantage of the fact that Empoli made a slow start to the season. The Azzurri experienced all sorts of problems in a 3-1 loss to Sassuolo in their last away game in the Serie A, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. In their last meeting in the Italian top flight Empoli crushed Parma 4-0, meaning that the Gialloblu are hungry for revenge.
