Our football match prediction:
Sampdoria were more than unfortunate not to grab something from Saturday’s football game against star-studded Napoli. La Samp left their hearts on the field, but the Neapolitans scored the winner in the dying seconds of the match. Marco Giampaolo’s team failed to put an end to their three-match winless run in the league, but they are certainly capable of picking up all three points from Sunday’s match against Empoli. Sampdoria are after their sixth home win of the season and seeing that they produced a promising display in the 2-1 loss to Napoli, we predict that the hosts will return to winning ways on Matchday 20. The Azzurri recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Palermo at home in their last league match, but the team’s away record is anything but good and, taking everything into account, the visitors are unlikely to spoil Sampdoria’s party at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.
