Our prediction for this Serie A match:
As expected, Sampdoria were beaten by Napoli at Stadio San Paolo in their last league match. La Samp continue with their habit of producing thrilling showings at home ground, but their away record is anything but impressive. Fabio Quagliarella, who received a call-up for the Italy national team, has been in a splendid form of late and all eyes will be on him when Sampdoria welcome Frosinone at their Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris. The Canarini, on the other hand, aim to escape the relegation zone in the Serie A standings, but seeing that Sampdoria are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the underdogs. In their last meeting in Genoa La Samp defeated Canarini 2-0 and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself.

Highlighted Player (Vid Belec):

Vid Belec is a 192-cm-tall goalkeeper, who was born in Maribor, Slovenia on June 6, 1990. Belec played for his home-town club Maribor at youth level and in 2007 he joined Italian side Internazionale.
However, the Slovenian shot-stopper did not see any game action in the Serie A during his spell at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and it has to be noted that he played for the likes of Crotone, Olhanense and Konyaspor on loan before joining Carpi in 2015. After making 56 appearances for the Biancorossi in the league, Vid Belec moved to Benevento in July, 2017, signing a three-year deal with the Serie A team.
Belec made his debut for Slovenia national football team on June 7, 2014 in a 2-0 loss to Argentina. The Slovenian goalkeeper managed to keep 13 clean sheets for Benevento in the 2016/2017 Serie B campaign and, no doubt, he helped the club secure promotion to the Italian top flight.
Highlighted Team (Frosinone):

Back in 1912 Frosinone were founded as Unione Sportiva Frusinate and it has to be noted that the colors of the team were originally red and blue. They were later changed to the current yellow and blue and the Canarini have been wearing those kits ever since. Frosinone made their first ever appearance in the Serie A in the 2015/2016 season, but they failed to secure the promotion.
The Canarini finished the season in 19th place in the standings, eight points behind Udinese, who eventually avoided relegation to Serie B. However, two years later Frosinone returned to the Italian top flight as they defeated Palermo 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs final.
The club play their home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe, the stadium that was opened in 2017. The venue can hold 16,227 spectators and it is owned by the Municipality of Frosinone. The construction cost €20 million.
