Our football match prediction:
Against all odds, Sampdoria suffered a heavy 4-1 loss to Crotone in their last league match, but the team remained in a race for a place in the Europa League. La Samp are determined to represent Italy in European competitions next term, but it remains to be seen if they are capable of securing a top-six finish. Sampdoria are, undisputedly, though to beat at home and it is important to note that recorded four wins in previous six home games in the Italian top flight. The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, did well to hold Napoli to a goalless draw at the weekend, but they need to return to winning ways as soon as possible if they are to book their place in the Champions League. Seeing that La Samp are tough to beat at home, we predict that the two teams are going to share the spoils in Genoa.

Highlighted Player (Vid Belec):
Vid Belec is a 192-cm-tall goalkeeper, who was born in Maribor, Slovenia on June 6, 1990. Belec played for his home-town club Maribor at youth level and in 2007 he joined Italian side Internazionale. However, the Slovenian shot-stopper did not see any game action in the Serie A during his spell at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and it has to be noted that he played for the likes of Crotone, Olhanense and Konyaspor on loan before joining Carpi in 2015. After making 56 appearances for the Biancorossi in the league, Vid Belec moved to Benevento in July, 2017, signing a three-year deal with the Serie A team. Belec made his debut for Slovenia national football team on June 7, 2014 in a 2-0 loss to Argentina. The Slovenian goalkeeper managed to keep 13 clean sheets for Benevento in the 2016/2017 Serie B campaign and, no doubt, he helped the club secure promotion to the Italian top flight.

Highlighted Team (Inter Milan):

Internazionale Milano, known as Internazionale, Inter or Inter named Milan, is a football club from Italy, founded on March 9, 1908 by a number of "rebels" who did not like in the regulations of the Milan Cricket and Football Club, now known as AC Milan. The main objection was that no foreign players were allowed. In 1928 the club merged with US Milanese and strongly entered a time when Ambrosiana-Inter survived. The club, nicknamed the Nerazzurri or the blue / blacks has had many successes. This is how Inter Milan won 18 national titles, seven times the Italian Cup, the UEFA Cup 3x, and 3x times the Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup I.
