Our football match prediction:
Sampdoria did not kick off the new Serie A campaign in style. La Samp were struggling to find their form back then, but the team’s recent performances are pretty good. Marco Giampaolo’s men are on a four-match winning run at home ground and it has to be noted that they outplayed Torino (2-0) at their Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris at the weekend. Their next rivals Lazio suffered a 2-0 loss to Roma in the Derby della Capitale, meaning that the lack of confidence might prove to a big problem for the visitors in Saturday’s football match. Sampdoria have been in a thrilling form of late and that is the main reason why we predict the hosts will defeat the Biancocelesti on Matchday 16. In their last meeting in Genoa La Samp recorded a 2-1 win over the capital club, with Lorenzo de Silvestri scoring the winner for the hosts.
