Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Sampdoria were on the verge of defeating Cagliari in Sardinia at the weekend, but they eventually dropped a two-goal advantage in Saturday’s football match against the Rossoblu. La Samp aim to put an end to their three-game winless run in the Serie A and they are definitely capable of beating Sassuolo in front of home fans. Marco Giampaolo’s men are eyeing a place in European competitions and they need to keep on raising their form if they are to meet the goal. The Neroverdi, on the other, defeated Crotone in front of home fans on Matchday 16, but Sampdoria are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the visitors than their previous rivals. Sassuolo experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Fiorentina in their last away game in the Italian top flight and we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on Giuseppe Iachini’s charges.
Highlighted Player (Vasco Regini):
Vasco Regini started his senior career at Cesena, but he made no more than ten appearances for the club (league) from 2007 to 2009. In 2009 he moved to Sampdoria and after ending his loan spells with the likes of Foggia and Empoli he returned to Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Vasco Regini played for Napoli on loan as well, but he made only one appearance for the Partenopei in the Italian elite division. The Italian footballer, who was born in Cesena on September 9, 1990, has established himself as first-team regular at Sampdoria and you should know that he played 34 games for La Samp in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign. Vasco Regini has 4 caps for Italy U20 team and he played for the U20 team in the past as well. His main position is left back, but he is used as both left winger and centre-back as well. The left-footed player has a contract with Sampdoria which expires on June 30, 2021.
