Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Having played out a goalless draw with Cagliari in Sardinia on Wednesday evening, Sampdoria will be aiming to return to winning ways in Serie A when they host SPAL at their Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris. La Samp failed to find the net in previous two league fixtures, but they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Sampdoria outclassed star-studded Napoli in front of home fans earlier this season, therefore, it is no surprise they are seen as favourites to win Monday’s football match. SPAL, on the other hand, have been struggling on the travels of late, with the team losing to Torino and Fiorentina and, taking everything into account, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling La Samp’s party at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris. A man to watch in the home team will be French attacker Defrel, who has netted four goals in the Serie A so far this term.
