Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Chievo made a very slow start to the season and, as a result, they sit in ultimate position in the Serie A standings ahead of Matchday 16. The Mussi Volanti are stuck at the bottom of the table, but they have been showing signs of improvement ever since Domenico Di Carlo took over the reins. Chievo are undefeated in previous four league fixtures and it has to be noted that they managed to hold the likes of Lazio and Napoli to a draw. SPAL, on the other hand, shared the spoils with ten-man Genoa in their last league match, with the team extending their winless run in the Italian top flight to six games. Leonardo Semplici’s men will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways, but seeing that the Mussi Volanti have been raising their form week by week, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw.
