Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Torino play host to Lazio at their Stadio Olimpico di Torino on Sunday afternoon. Il Toro were more than unfortunate not to beat Sassuolo on the road in their last league match, with the team dropping a two-goal advantage in the dying minutes. Marco Giampaolo’s men, though, have been showing signs of improvement of late, and they are surely capable of matching Lazio on home soil.
Baselli, Zaza, and Izzo are sidelined with injuries for the hosts, while goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic remains out of contention through suspension. The Biancocelesti, on the other hand, welcome Vanja’s brother Sergej Milinkovic-Savic back to the starting line-up as the Serbia superstar has overcome his injury. The capital club did well to beat Bologna at home in their last league match, but given Torino’s display in the 3-3 draw with Sassuolo, share of spoils is on the cards in Turin.
