Our football match prediction:
Lazio do not take part in European competitions this term, meaning that the capital club will be fully focused on the national championship in the 2016/2017 season. The Biancocelesti head into Saturday’s football match against Udinese following a 2-0 win over Empoli and a triumph over the Zebrette could see Simone Inzaghi’s troops climb to third place in the Serie A standings. Udinese have been totally out of form of late and they are on a three-match winless run in the national championship ahead of the visit of Lazio. The Zebrette are tough to beat at home, but seeing that the visitors regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend, away win appears on the cards. Balde Diao Keita opened his goal-scoring account against Empoli and we predict that the pacey attacker will pose a big threat for the opposition defenders in Saturday’s match at Dacia Arena (former Stadio Friuli).
Highlighted Player (Sven Kums):
Belgian defender Sven Kums began his youth career at Dilbeek Sport and in 1996 he joined Anderlecht. Despite spending seven years at the club, he did not see any game action with the Belgian giants at senior level. After ending his loan spells with the likes of Lierse and Kortrijk, he signed a permanent deal with de Kerels in 2008. The 176-cm-tall midfielder, who was born on 26 February, 1988, scored 12 goals in 116 league appearances for Kortrijk and in 2011 he moved to Netherlands, signing a contract with Heerenveen. In 2013 he returned to Belgium, joining Zulte Waregem. In the summer of 2014 he moved to fellow Belgian outfit Gent and at the end of the 2015/2016 season he signed a loan deal with Udinese. Kums has 12 caps for Belgium U21 and it has to be noted that his father Ludo Kums is working as a coach at Anderlecht. Sven Kums is a centre midfielder, but he plays as both attacking midfielder and defensive midfielder as well.

Highlighted Team (Lazio Roma):

Lazio are an Italian football club based in Rome. Lazio were founded in 1900 and they compete in the Serie A. The Biancocelesti (The White and Sky Blues) have won two Serie A trophies (1973/1974, 1999/2000), while lifting six Coppa Italia titles. The capital club play their home games at Stadio Olimpico and Roma are regarded as Lazio’s main rivals. The two teams face each other in the Derby della Capitale and it is considered the fiercest inter-city derby in Italy. Lazio won UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1999, with the team beating Mallorca in the title game. The same year they managed to clinch the UEFA Super Cup trophy as they outplayed English giants Manchester United at Stade Louis II, Monaco. The likes of Pavel Nedved, Giuseppe Favalli, Juan Sebastian Veron, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Roberto Mancini, Giuseppe Signori, Miroslav Klose and Simone Inzaghi are notable footballers who played for Lazio in the past.
