Our prediction for this South Korea K League 1 match:
Seoul will be aiming to build on back-to-back wins over Gwangju and Pohang Steelers when they take on Seongnam on day 4 of the new K League 1 season. The capital club quickly bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Gangwon, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence, but they do not want to stop now. Choi Yong-Soo’s men aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but the game against Seongnam will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team.
The visitors aim to extend their unbeaten run to four matches, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in Sunday’s football game. In their last meeting in the national championship Seongnam recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Seoul, with Moon Sang-Yun scoring the only goal of the game, and yet another low-scoring affair is on the horizon.
