Our prediction for this Taca de Portugal match:
After beating Fabril Barreiro 3-1 in their Taca de Portugal opener, Moreirense will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they host Mafra at their Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas. The Os verdes e brancos are on a seven-game winless run in the national championship, meaning that a victory over Mafra in the Portuguese Cup will give them a confidence boost.
The Segunda Liga side, on the other hand, have been scoring goals for fun in the Portuguese second tier of late. Mafra are likely to stick to their attacking style of play, and seeing that Moreirense impressed in a 3-3 draw with Famalicao, we believe that punters can find value in betting on both teams to score. It has to be noted that the two sides have never met before in the Portuguese Cup.
Highlighted Player (Pedro Nuno ):

After spending his youth career at the likes of Buarcos, Naval, Benfica, and Academica, Pedro Nuno continued playing for the Briosa at the senior level. Pedro Nuno scored five goals in 25 appearances for Academica in the league, which persuaded Benfica chiefs to sign him on November 28, 2016.
The Portuguese midfielder, though, was immediately sent on loan to Tondela, where he scored four goals in 45 appearances for the club. In 2018 Pedro Nuno moved to Moreirense, and he has been playing for Os verdes e brancos ever since. He made his Primeira Liga debut with Moreirense on August 11, 2019, in a 3-1 away loss to Sporting Braga.
Pedro Nuno was born in Buarcos, Portugal, on January 13, 1995, and he wears the number 27 jersey at Moreirense. His primary position is left winger, but he is used as both second striker and attacking midfielder. Pedro Nuno has yet to make his debut with the Portugal senior team.
Highlighted Team (Moreirense):

Moreirense are a Portuguese football club based in Moreira de Conegos. Founded on November 1, 1938, Os verdes e brancos welcome their rivals at Parque Moreira de Conegos Guimaraes, the venue which can hold up to 9,000 spectators.
Moreirense wear green and white shirts and white shorts when playing at home, whilst black and red are the dominant colours of their away kit. In the 2016/2017 season Os verdes e brancos did well to win the Taca da Liga trophy, with the team beating Braga 1-0 in the title game.
Caue scored the winner for Moreirense on the stroke of half time. Moreirense impressed in the 2018/2019 Primeira Liga season, finishing the process in sixth position in the standings. The club missed out on a place in the Europa League on goal difference to Vitoria de Guimaraes. Penafiel are considered one of the club’s main rivals.
