Our prediction for this Taca de Portugal match:
Campo Engenherio Carlos Salema will host Saturday’s Taca de Portugal game between Oriental and Famalicao. Oriental kicked off their Portuguese Cup campaign with a 2-0 loss to Cerveira, but it has to be noted that they are on a three-game losing run in the league. The Campeonato de Portugal Prio side are low on confidence ahead of the visit of Famalicao, and it is no wonder the odds for away win have been dropping.
The Azuis e Brancos, on the other hand, have been producing fine performances ever since they secured promotion to Primeira Liga. Famalicao have been having their ups and downs in the Portuguese top flight this season, but they are still seen as hot favourites to beat Oriental Lisboa in their Taca de Portugal opener. In their last meeting at the venue, back in 2015, Famalicao defeated Oriental 1-0, and we believe that the history is going to repeat itself.
