Our prediction for this Taca de Portugal match:
High-flying Sporting CP will be aiming to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they host Pacos de Ferreira in the Taca de Portugal last 32. The Lions are leading the chase for the Primeira Liga title, but they have big ambitions for the 2020/21 Portuguese Cup campaign as well. The capital club are eyeing their fourth consecutive win at home, and they are seen as favourites to win Saturday’s clash.
Os Castores have been in a fine form of late as well, with the team recording four wins in the previous five games in all competitions. Ferreira have been impressive on the travels of late, but Sporting are likely to a pose a much bigger threat for the visitors than their previous rivals. Anyhow, a lively contest is on the cards, and we are tempted to put our money on over 2.5 goals.
