Our prediction for this Turkey Super Lig match:
Thanks to a 1-0 win over Kayserispor Istanbul Basaksehir cemented top position in the standings, and they will be looking to put icing on the cake on a very successful season when they take on Kasimpasa on Matchday 34. Basaksehir are eager to finish the season in style, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s football game.
A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Bosnia international Edin Visca, who is enjoying yet another season to remember. Kasimpasa, on the other hand, are stuck in the middle of the standings. Fuat Capa’s troops have been impressive at home ground ever since they restarted the season, but seeing that the league leaders are brimming with confidence ahead of the local derby, we are tempted to put our money on the away team.
Highlighted Player (Eljero Elia):

Eljero Elia began his senior career at ADO Den Haag. The pacey winger scored six goals in 59 league appearances for the club and in 2007 he moved to fellow Eredivisie team Twente. Elia, who was born on 13 February, 1987 in Voorburg, spent two years at Twente and on 5 July, 2009 he moved to Germany, signing a five-year deal with Hamburg for a fee of €8.5 million.
The Dutch winger made his Hamburg debut against Freiburg on 8 August, 2009 and he scored his first goal for the club in a 4-2 victory over Wolfsburg on 23 August. Elia played for Italian giants Juventus in the 2011/2012 season, but he made no more than four league appearances for the club. In the summer of 2012 he returned to Germany, signing a deal with Werder Bremen and he played for die Werderaner between 2012 and 2015.
Speaking of his international career, Elia represented Netherlands at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and he won the silver medal with the Oranje as they were beaten by Spain in the title game.
Highlighted Team (Basaksehir):

Istanbul Basaksehir are one of the youngest clubs in Turkey. Founded in 1990, Istanbul Basaksehir play their home games at Fatih Terim Stadium, the venue that was opened in 2014. The Turkish club club have yet to win the national championship, but they did well to finish the 2016/2017 Super Lig campaign in second place in the standings.
As a result, Istanbul Basaksehir booked their place in the Champions League qualifiers and thanks to a win over Club Brugge in the two-legged tie the capital club set up a meeting with La Liga side Sevilla in the play-offs. Despite producing fine performances in the double-header against the star-studded Spanish side Istanbul Basaksehir eventually failed to make it to the Champions League group stages.
Nonetheless, the club will represent Turkey in the group stages of the Europa League in the 2017/2018 season. It has to be noted that the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Eljero Elia, Emre Belozoglu and Gael Clichy played for Istanbul Basaksehir in the 2017/2018 Champions League qualifiers.
