Estadio Municipal de Santo Domingo will host Sunday’s Copa del Rey game between Alcorcon and Valencia. Los Alfareros did well to beat Zaragoza 2-1 in the last 64, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Valencia. Talented attacker Alejandro Escardo is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts. Los Che, on the other hand, recorded a morale-boosting win over Real Valladolid in their last league match.
Valencia have slim chances of booking their place in European competitions through La Liga, and, no doubt, they will give 100% to go all the way in the Copa del Rey this season. Javi Gracia’s men impressed in a 4-1 win over Yeclano, and we are positive that they will give fans yet another reason for celebration on Sunday. Sobrino, who found the net in the previous round, is likely to keep his place up front.

Born in Accra, Ghana on July 10, 1992, Richard Boateng is a midfielder who plays for Alcorcon in Segunda Division. Boateng is a product of Liberty Babies football academy, with the Ghanaian starting his senior career at Liberty Professionals. In 2010 he moved to Spain, signing a deal with Granada.
During his spell with the Andalusian outfit, he mainly played for Granada B, but he spent a couple of years at loan at Cadiz B and San Roque as well. Richard Boateng made only one appearance for the Granada senior team in the league.
The Ghana international played for the likes of Aris Limassol, Extremadura, Melilla, and Oviedo as well before joining Alcorcon in 2019. His primary position is central midfielder, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right, and his contract with Alcorcon should expire in June 2021.

Founded on March 18, 1919, Valencia FC are a Spanish football club that compete in La Liga. Los Che play their home games at Estadio de Mestalla, the stadium which was opened back in May, 1923. The capacity of the venue is 50,000. Seeing that bats are quite common in Valencia, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Bats.
Valencia made it to the Champions League final on two occasions (2000, 2001), but they were beaten in the title games by Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen respectively. The Spanish club, though, did well to win the UEFA Cup title in the 2003/2004 season, with the team beating Marseille in the final of the competition.
A number of top-class footballers were part of the club in the past, with the likes of Pablo Aimar, Ruben Baraja, David Albelda, Santiago Canizares, John Carew and Gaizka Mendieta all playing for the Estadio de Mestalla outfit. Valencia main colors are white and black, whilst they often where orange jerseys and shorts when playing on the travels.
