Morecambe and Walsall go head to head at Globe Arena on Tuesday evening in what is expected to be a close match. Morecambe have yet to recover from the FA Cup defeat to Chelsea, with the team losing to Leyton Orient in their first league game of the year. The Shrimps, though, are on a four-game winning run at home in the League Two, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Walsall.
The Saddlers, on the other hand, suffered three defeats in the previous four league fixtures. Walsall have been struggling to find their best form in 2021, and given Morecambe’s fine home record, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. In the first half of the season Morecambe defeated Walsall 2-0, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.

After spending several seasons on loan at Halifax Town, Newcastle Town, IBV, and Curzon Ashton, the English footballer joined Yeovil Town on a permanent basis in the 2014/2015 season. A-Jay Leitch-smith played for the likes of Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town, and Dundee (loan) as well before moving to his current club Morecambe.
Leitch-Smith is a very intelligent and creative attacker with good technical abilities. His preferred foot is centre-forward, but he is used as both second striker and right winger as well. The English footballer, who wears the number 28 jersey at Morecambe, has a contract with the Shrimps until June 30, 2021.
