Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Cambridge United will be looking to build on a 2-1 win over Southend United when they host Bradford City at their Abbey Stadium. Mark Bonner’s troops have been in a splendid form of late, and it is more than obvious that they are determined to secure automatic promotion to the League One. Cambridge United aim to move one step closer to turning their long-lasting dream into reality, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Bradford.
The Bantams have been producing promising displays in 2021 as well, with the team recording three victories in the last four league fixtures. Since Bradford City are likely to go for a win in Saturday’s clash as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. You should bear in mind that Cambridge United defeated Bradford City in their last meeting at Abbey Stadium.
Highlighted Player (Liam O’Neil):
Born in Cambridge, England on July 31, 1993, Liam O’Neil is an English footballer who plays as both defender as midfielder for Cambridge United in the League Two. O’Neil is a product of the Cambridge United football school, but he played for Histon during his youth career as well.
In the summer of 2012 he joined WBA youth academy, and it has to be noted that he made three appearances for the Baggies at senior level in all competitions. Liam O’Neil played for the likes of VPS and Scunthorpe United on loan as well before joining Chesterfield in 2015.
After scoring two goals in 45 appearances for the club in the league, O’Neil moved to Cambridge United in the winter of 2017. As his mother comes from Wales, O’Neil is open to play for the Wales national team, but he has yet to earn a cap with the Dragons.
