All eyes will be on the Valley when Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth square off against each other in the League One round 27. The Red Robins aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over MK Dons, and a victory over Portsmouth will see them climb to the playoffs berth. Charlton Athletic are eyeing their fifth home win of the season, but the midweek game will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts.

After spending a couple of seasons on loan at the likes of Oxford United, Milton Keynes Dons and Rotherham United, the English footballer signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Charlton Athletic in the winter of 2017. Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
