Lille
Lille will be looking to extend their winning run to six games when they take on Nantes at Stade de la Beaujoire on Matchday 24. Les Dogues want their title dream to be continued, and we are positive that they will go for a win in Sunday’s football match. A man to watch in the away team will be Yusuf Yazici, who has found his goalscoring touch of late. Les Canaris, on the other hand, aim to escape the danger zone in the Ligue 1 standings.
Nantes, though, are low on confidence as they recorded their last league win on November 8, 2020. A Belgian player of Congolese descent, Anthony Libombe is a versatile forward who is equally able to play as a winger. The talented 22-year-old began his career at Racing Genk in 2010, while he spent the last two years as a member of Dutch side NEC Nijmegen.
During a two-year spell in the Eredivisie, Anthony Limbombe made 65 league appearances for NEC scoring 21 goals during that time. Limbombe has been outstandingly impressive during the 2015-16 season when he scored 7 goals and notched 7 assists in the Eredivisie. Belgium international has long been linked with a move to English side Leeds, who followed him closely in Eredivisie, but Limbombe chose to return to Belgium in the summer of 2016 when he signed a deal with Club Brugge reportedly worth £2 million.
Anthony Limbombe is yet to make his competitive debut for his new side, but the club management has huge expectations from a young forward who could go on to be a huge revelation in the Champions League.

Lille have been playing an important role in French football ever since they were founded in 1944. Les Dogues won their first domestic trophy in the 1945/1946 season.
Lille did well to win their second Ligue 1 title in 1954 and 57 years later they lifted their last domestic title. Les Douges finished the 2010/2011 season in top position in the standings, eight points clear of second-placed Olympique Marseille and it has to be noted that Lille attacker Moussa Sow won the Golden Boot (25 goals).
Lille are one of the two teams that managed to win three consecutive Coupe de France trophies (1946, 1947, 1948), but they have yet to clinch the Coupe de la Ligue title.
