Lorient
Montpellier and Lorient face each other at Stade de la Mosson in the Ligue 1 round 28. Le Paillade have been producing fine displays in the national championship in December, with the team beating Dijon, Lyon, and Rennes, while sharing the spoils with Metz and Reims. Montpellier are high on confidence ahead of the visit of Lorient, and seeing that les Merlus are not regarded as good travellers, home win should be considered.
Both Bertaud and Delort are likely to miss the game with injuries. Lorient, on the other hand, did well to beat St Etienne at home in their last league match, but they have collected only seven points from possible 39 on the travels this term. Armand Lauriente, who scored a brace in the 2-1 win over St Etienne, is widely expected to return to the starting XI for the visiting team.

Born in Montpellier on December 22, 1991, Teji Savanier is a French footballer who plays for Nimes in the Ligue 1 as a midfielder. Savanier began his senior career at Arles-Avignon and it has to be noted that he played for the club from 2011 to 2015.
Ahead of the start of the 2015/2016 Ligue 2 campaign, Teji Savanier joined Nimes and he has been playing for the club ever since. The 171-cm tall midfielder has established himself as a first-team regular at Nimes and he successfully plays for the club in the French top flight. Savanier’s main position is central midfield, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
Despite producing fine performances for Nimes in all competitions, Teji Savanier has yet to receive a call-up for the French national football team. His contract with Nimes should expire on June 27, 2018.

Founded back in 1926, Lorient is a French football club that competes in Ligue 1. Les Merlus have yet to win the Ligue 1 trophy, but they did well to go all the way in the Coupe de France in the 2001/02 season. In the title game, Lorient defeated Bastia thanks to Jean-Claude Darcheville’s goal.
The same season les Merlus made it to the Coupe de la Ligue final, but Bordeaux proved to be a big catch (0-3) for them in the title game. Lorient welcome their rivals at Stade du Moustoir, the stadium which can hold up to 16,392 spectators. The colour of the team’s home shirt is orange with a little black on it, while white is the dominant colour of their away jersey. In the 2002/03 season Lorient represented France in European competitions.
Les Merlus, though, failed to impress on their debut in the UEFA Cup as they were beaten by Denizlispor in the round 1 double-header.
