Saturday’s football match at the Valley pits together Charlton Athletic and Shrewsbury Town, the two teams who defeated Northampton and Rochdale respectively in the previous two league fixtures. The Red Robins proved their worth in the midweek clash, with the team moving closer to the playoffs berth. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Northern Ireland international Conor Washington, who scored a brace in the triumph over Northampton.
The Shrews, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 2-0 loss to Fleetwood, but they need to keep on producing fine displays if they are to secure the League One survival. Both Ryan Inniss and Marcus Maddison are rated doubtful for the hosts, while Shrewsbury boss Steve Cotterill should have a full squad to choose from. Anyhow, we are tempted to put our money on the Red Robins, who want this win more than the Shrews.

Born in Southend-on-Sea, England on April 25, 1994 Jake Forster-Caskey is a midfielder who plays for Charlton Athletic in the League One. Forster-Caskey started his both youth and senior careers at Brighton & Hove Albion and it has to be noted that he scored five goals in 67 league appearances for the Seagulls first team.
After spending a couple of seasons on loan at the likes of Oxford United, Milton Keynes Dons and Rotherham United, the English footballer signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Charlton Athletic in the winter of 2017. Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
