Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Dijon will be looking to make amends for a 3-0 loss to Nice when they face Nice at Stade Gaston Gerard on Matchday 33. The Owls are stuck at the bottom of the table, with the team losing each of their previous twelve games. Dijon have slim chances of securing the Ligue 1 survival, and given their five-match losing run at home ground, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the underdogs. All Chouiar, Ndong, Ngonda, and Sammaritano are out of contention with injuries.
Les Aiglons, on the other hand, have little to play for in the season finale as they are nine points behind the Europa League berth. Anyhow, away win should be considered as Nice have been in a fine form of late. The likes of Youcef Atal, Hitchem Boudaoui, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, and Dante are all sidelined through injuries.
Highlighted Player (Yassine Benzia):
Born in Saint-Aubin-les-Elbeuf, Yassine Benzia is an Algerian footballer who plays for Lille in Ligue 1. Benzia played for the likes of Saint-Aubin, Oissel, Caudebecais, Quevilly and Lyon during his youth career and he made his senior debut with les Gones on May 20, 2012 in a league game against Nice.
After scoring four goals in 38 appearances in the French top flight for Lyon Yassine Benzia joined fellow Ligue 1 club Lille in 2015. Despite being born in France, Yassine Benzia decided to represent Algeria at senior level, but it has to be noted that he has nine caps for France U21 team (six goals). The prolific attacker played his first game for Algeria national football team on March 26, 2016 against Ethiopia.
The right-footed footballer scored his first goal for Algeria in a 2-0 win over Seychelles in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. You should bear in mind that his contract with les Dogues expires on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Nice):
OGC Nice are a football club that participate in French Ligue 1. Les Aiglons welcome their opponents at Allianz Riviera and the club was founded on 9 July, 1904 by Marquis Massengy d’ Auzac.
OGC Nice won their first Ligue 1 trophy back in 1951 and eight years later they clinched their fourth and last domestic title. Speaking of the French Cup, les Aiglons won their third Coupe de France title in 1997. Allianz Riviera has been the home ground of the club since September, 2013 and it has to be noted that the construction of the venue cost €250 million. OGC Nice play their home games in red and black shirts and black shorts, while the colour of their away kits is white.
The Ligue 1 team booked their place in the Europa League group stages for the 2016/2017 season for the first time in the club’s history and they were drawn alongside Schalke 04, Salzburg and Krasnodar in Group I. However, they were beaten by Schalke in their Europa League opener in front of home fans.
