Our prediction for this MLS match:
Sunday’s football game at Nissan Stadium pits together Nashville and Chicago Fire, the two teams who meet for the second time in the Major League Soccer. In the previous meeting (November 2020) the two teams played out a 1-1 draw, but Gary Smith’s troops are seen as favourites to beat Chicago Fire this time out. All Alistair Johnston, Anibal Godoy, and Walker Zimmerman are on international duty, while Dominique Badji is likely to miss the game through injury.
Chicago Fire, on the other hand, head into the match following back-to-back wins over Orlando City and Atlanta United. Raphael Wicky’s troops have been scoring goals for fun of late, and seeing that Nashville are a real force to be reckoned with at home, both teams to score betting option should be considered. Chicago Fire defender Francisco Calvo represents Costa Rica at the 2021 Gold Cup, while all Ivanov, Kronholm, and Teran have been struggling with injuries.
