The Wolves are eager to bounce back from the heartbreaking loss to Hansa, and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Wednesday’s friendly.
Jens Hartel’s troops, on the other hand, failed to secure promotion to Bundesliga as they were beaten by Koln in the promotion playoffs. Holstein Kiel have been anything but impressive in pre-season warm-up games, and, taking everything into account, we do not believe that they are capable of matching the Bundesliga side in Wolfsburg. When the two teams met in a friendly last year Wolfsburg recorded a 2-0 win over Holstein Kiel.

Born in Chene-Bougeries, Switzerland on April 19, 1995, Kevin Mbabu is a defender who plays for Young Boys. Mbabu started his youth career at Servette and he continued playing for les Grenats at senior level. However, it has to be noted that he made no more than one appearance for Servette in the league during the 2012/2013 season.
Kevin Mbabu then joined Premier League side Newcastle United and after spending two seasons on loan at Rangers and Young Boys, he signed a permanent deal with the Stade de Suisse outfit in 2017. His main position right back, but he is used as both centre and left back as well.
Mbabu is eligible to play for Switzerland, DR Congo and France due to his mixed descent, but he decided to represent the Rossocrociati at senior level. Mbabu made his Switzerland debut in September, 2018 in a 6-0 win over Iceland. His contract with Young Boys should expire in June, 2020.

Wolfsburg are a German football club founded in the aftermath of the World War II (1945). Die Wolfe (The Wolves) wear green and white shirts and they play their home games at Volkswagen Arena. The capacity of the stadium is 30,000 and it was opened on 13 December, 2002.
It is well known that German car manufacturer Volkswagen are the club’s main sponsors. Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga trophy in 2009 and the likes of Edin Dzeko, Grafite and Zvjezdan Misimovic were part of the club’s golden generation.
You should bear in mind that Grafite and Dzeko scored 54 goals between each other in the 2008/2009 Bundesliga campaign and that the team clinched the trophy thanks to a 5-1 win over Werder Bremen on 23 May, 2009.
