Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Cardiff City Stadium (neutral location) will host Thursday’s Conference League qualifier between TNS and Plzen. TNS have been producing excellent displays in the qualifiers for the new UEFA competition, with the team rolling over Kauno Zalgiris 10-1 on agg. The Welsh are high on confidence ahead of the first leg, but Plzen are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals.
A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Daniel Davies, who has been scoring goals for fun of late. Plzen, on the other hand, kicked off the new domestic campaign with back-to-back wins over Mlada Boleslav and Bohemians. The Red and Blues are a more experienced side than TNS, and, taking everything into account, away win should be considered. French attacker Jean-David Beauguel is pushing for a start after finding the net in the 2-1 win over Bohemians.
