Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Genk will be looking to build on a 2-1 win over Kortrijk when they take on Leuven at Luminus Arena on Matchday 4. Genk quickly bounced back from a shocking loss (3-4) to Oostende, and, no doubt, Saturday’s triumph gave them a confidence boost. Even though De Smurfen were in action in the Champions League qualifiers in midweek, home win should be considered as Leuven suit John van den Brom’s troops.
You should bear in mind that Genk emerged triumphant in five of the previous six meetings with Leuven. The visitors, on the other hand, have drawn each of their first three games of the season. Genk, though, will pose a much bigger threat for Leuven than their previous rivals. Benin international Yannick Aguemon is sidelined through injury for the visitors, while winger Simen Juklerod is injured for the hosts.
