Brondby
Salzburg will be aiming to kick off their Champions League qualifying campaign in style when they take on Brondby in the first leg of the play-offs. The Austrian champions have been producing fine performances at the start of the new domestic campaign, and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to win Tuesday’s clash. Top scorer Patson Daka joined Leicester City earlier this summer, but Matthias Jaissle still has a number of high-profile footballers to choose from.
Brondby, on the other hand, did well to win the Denmark Superliga last term thanks to a 2-0 win over Nordsjaelland on the last day of the season. The Danes, though, have been struggling at the back at the start of the new domestic campaign, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Salzburg’s party at Red Bull Arena. Keep in mind that all Radosevic, Rosted, Mikkelsen, Greve, Cappis, and Borkeeiet have been tested positive for coronavirus.

Born in Serbia on 26 September 1987, Zlatko Junuzovic moved to Austria at the age of five and he eventually decided to represent his adopted country at international level. The central midfielder made a name for himself playing for Grazer AK, Austria Karnten and Austria Wien, but it was a move to Werder Bremen that earned him worldwide recognition.
Ever since 2012, Junuzovic has been one of Bundesliga’s leading midfielders, scoring a number of goals from set pieces and producing countless assists for his teammates, and it is a real wonder how he hasn’t joined a bigger club.
Capable of operating as a defensive midfielder, but much more dangerous as an attacking midfielder, Junuzovic has been a key player for Austria for several years now and he was in fine form as Das Team secured their place at the Euro 2016 finals. The highly rated midfielder has been a member of the national team for over ten years and chances are he will not be retiring any time soon.

Salzburg are a professional football club that compete in Austrian Bundesliga. The club’s main sponsors are Red Bull and, as a result, they are well known under the name of the Red Bulls. The club was founded on 13 September, 1933 and they won their first Austrian Bundesliga trophy in 1994.
Salzburg quickly established themselves as the dominant force in the national championship and they are the most successful Austrian club in the 21st century. It has to be noted that they won their tenth Austrian Premier League trophy in 2016, finishing the season nine points clear of second-placed Rapid Wien.
The Red Bulls welcome their rivals at Red Bull Arena, the stadium that was opened on 8 March, 2008. The capacity of the venue is 31 895. Salzburg participated in the 1993/1994 UEFA Cup final, but Italian side proved to be a big catch for the Austrian outfit. Inter recorded a 2-0 win over Salzburg in the final (on aggregate).
