Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Buoyed by a 3-1 win over Fiorentina, Roma will be looking to overtake Inter in top position in the standing when they take on newcomers Salernitana on Sunday. New signing Tammy Abraham proved his worth in the season opener, with the former Chelsea striker providing two assists for his teammates, and, no doubt, the pacey England international will pose a big threat for the opposition defenders.
Zaniolo is banned for the match, while both Smalling and Spinazzola are likely to miss the game through injuries. Salernitana, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Bologna, meaning that a high-scoring affair is on the cards at Stadio Arechi. Norway defender Strandberg misses the game through suspension, while Frederic Veseli has yet to recover from a knee injury. Anyhow, the Romans are closer to picking up all three points from the match than the newcomers.
