Aston Villa
After surviving Antonio-less West Ham in London, Manchester United will be aiming to stay in the title race when they host Aston Villa to their Old Trafford. Summer signing Cristiano Ronaldo has already scored two goals in the new Premier League campaign, and we are positive that the Portugal superstar will pose a big threat for Aston Villa defenders as well. Fit-again midfielder Scott McTominay should keep his place in the starting XI, while Marcus Rashford and Alex Telles remain in the recovery room.
Edinson Cavani is rated doubtful for the match. The Villans did well to beat Everton 3-0 at the weekend, but it has to be noted that the Toffees were without important first-team regulars in the Villa Park clash. Since Dean Smith’s troops are not regarded as good travelers, we are tempted to put our money on the Red Devils. John McGinn should be fit for the match, as well as new signing Leon Bailey.

The Portuguese ace was born on 5 February, 1985 in Funchal, Madeira and he played for the likes of Andorinha, Nacional and Sporting during his youth career. CR7 made his Sporting debut in Primeira Liga on 7 October, 2002, scoring two goals in a 3-0 win over Moreirense.
Manchester United scouts spotted him and one year later he joined the Old Trafford outfit. Ronaldo became the most expensive teenager in the history of the Premier League and he received the number 7 shirt. He quickly established himself as the team’s key player and it has to be noted that he won three consecutive Premier League trophies with the Red Devils (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009). In 2008 he helped the Old Trafford outfit beat Chelsea in the Champions League final, scoring for Alex Ferguson’s troops in the regular time.
Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and he helped the Spanish giants with two Champions League trophies. In 2016 he won the European Championship trophy with Portugal. The Real Madrid ace has two Golden Ball awards (2013, 2014).

Aston Villa is one of the three clubs that dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign. The Villans host their rivals at Villa Park, the stadium that was opened in 1897 and its’ capacity is 42,682. However, it has to be noted that the highest attendance recorded at the stadium was 76,588 when Aston Villa faced Derby County in the FA Cup back in 1946.
Aston Villa’s fiercest rivals are Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. Nonetheless, the rivalry between Aston Villa and Wolves and Coventry City is big as well. Aston Villa have won seven First Division (Premier League) trophies, with the team clinching seven FA Cup trophies as well.
