A spot in the EFL Cup last 16 will be at stake when Watford and Stoke City square off against each other at Vicarage Road on Tuesday evening. The Hornets did well to beat Norwich City on the road in their last league match, with the team climbing to 11th place in the standings. Even though Spanish tactician Xisco should mix the squad against Stoke City, home win should be considered as Watford impressed in the Carrow Road clash.
All Sema, Cucho, Etebo, and Masina are pushing for a start, while Pedro remains in the recovery room. The Potters, on the other hand, continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Premier League outfit. The Englishman’s prolific goalscoring record in the Football League was brought to a halt, however, with Gray scoring just five goals in 31 Premier League appearances during the 2017/18 season.
